"Omnipotent View"
It' is true that, most of us design through plans and look at models in axonometric views like God's point of view on earth. Designing through that degree of view, sometimes we might neglect how the user will feel as they enter the space.
Quote of the day was,
"Let's face it, we are all visual whores"
We tend to believe everything we see. Even a simple thing as choosing between products, we will start to look at it's form and packaging, so goes to a space.Forms are so emphasized that we start to neglect how a building can 'feel',thru lighting, color, textures and even smell. The little things that makes a big difference.
How many of us actually think about how fine or coarse the grain is for our wood flooring, and also how many of us would specify a tone or hue of color in our design? Most of us tend to generalize things like " I choose blue because it gives a cool effect" but which blue are we talking about here? A wrong shade of blue can make things turn out wrong!
It is the small details that will affect our overall design, and these small details are the things that make us a true designer :)
